Broadcast from 1976 to its 1981, The Muppet Show was groundbreaking television. A variety show starring a group of puppets, it became more popular than anyone except perhaps Jim Henson, could have imagined. During its five seasons, it was broadcast in more than 100 countries.

Knight Rider originally ran from 1982 to 1986. The series was broadcast on NBC and starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a high-tech modern-day knight fighting crime with a talking car with artificial intelligence. Created by Glen A.
